Functions and advantages
- The insertion pin on the connecting tube is connected to the safety valve of the PleurX™ or drainova® ArgentiC catheter.
- Misconnections, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 80369-1, are ruled out by the key-lock plug connection.
- The suction force and drainage volume can be adjusted using the roller clamp on the connection hose.
- Drainage takes approx. 5 - 15 minutes and is performed in the hospital under the supervision of a nurse.
