Functions and advantages
- The insertion pin on the connecting tube is connected to the safety valve of the PleurX™ or drainova® ArgentiC catheter.
- Misconnection, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 80369-1, is ruled out by the key-lock plug connection.
- The drainage volume and the drainage interval can be adjusted using the pinch clamp on the connection hose.
- Drainage takes 15 - 30 minutes and is simple and safe.
- The integrated Heimlich valve prevents the backflow of effusion and air.
