Studies have shown that noises such as the closing of gripping openings on the incubator can cause noise levels of 120-135 db. This corresponds to the volume of a rock concert. The Resuci Flow from Atom Medical is an infant resuscitator. After a single setting, the infant’s lungs are safely ventilated and optimally oxygenated by the built-in oxygen mixer. The desired duration of inspiration and the PEEP setting can be easily adjusted with one finger. The peak inspiratory pressure and the applied PEEP can be read on the analog display. An overpressure valve offers application safety while at the same time allowing the maximum inspiratory pressure to be preselected.
