The drainova® reservoir with soft vacuum technology combines the high flow rates of conventional vacuum drainage systems with the gentle effusion drainage of gravity drainage systems.
Adequate and constant suction is generated by a torsion spring that slowly opens the reservoir and thus aspirates the effusion.
Following a doctor’s prescription and instructions from ewimed Switzerland AG, the patient may also use the drainova® reservoir at home for temporary drainage of pleural effusions or ascites.
