The ewimed Pneu-Pack series are high-quality gravity reservoirs with integrated Heimlich, air and fluid drain valves. The Pneu-Packs differ mainly in their connections and can therefore be connected to a wide variety of catheters.
A Pneu-Pack is ideal for the drainage and permanent drainage of pleural effusions and ascites. The Pneu-Pack was specially developed for patients with a pneumothorax or an air fistula to enable passive exhalation of air.

The ewimed Pneu-Pack I can be connected directly to a drainova® ArgentiC or PleurX™ catheter using the insertion pin on the connecting tube. The drainage volume and the drainage interval are regulated via the squeeze clamp on the connecting tube.

The ewimed Pneu-Pack II can be connected to various commercially available catheters using the female Luer lock on the connecting tube.
For example, connect to a drainova® ArgentiC or PleurX™ catheter via a PleurX™ connecting tube or directly to a Safe-T-Centesis. The drainage volume and the drainage interval are regulated using the roller clamp on the PleurX™ connecting tube.
