ewimed Switzerland AG, Freiburgstrasse 453, 3018 Bern, is a provider of drainage products for patients with pleural effusion or ascites. This privacy policy explains how we process personal data and is aimed at the following groups of people:

    Health data (drainage quantity, infections, diagnosis if applicable, visitor logs, etc.)

As a rule, we collect personal data directly from the person concerned. In the case of patients, supporters or partners and, in rare cases, applicants, we sometimes also receive this data from third parties, e.g. the treating doctor or the patient.

By transmitting the data via third parties, you confirm this. Please also ensure that these third parties have been informed about this privacy policy.

We process data from patients, supporters, partners and suppliers in order to supply drainage material, catheters and related products and to provide information about their use. We also process the data in order to continuously improve our products and for marketing measures directed at patients, supporters or partners regarding products or services from us or our partners that may be of interest to them, whereby this can be refused at any time, especially in the case of newsletters, most easily via the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter.

We process applicant data in order to clarify the suitability of applicants for advertised or otherwise vacant positions.

We process data from visitors in order to respond to their inquiries. We also process anonymized visitor usage data in order to analyze and improve the use of our website.

We may also process the above-mentioned data to comply with legal obligations and official orders, including communication with authorities and courts and the enforcement of and defense against legal claims.
